A day in the life of me.: Nan and Pop are HERE 2010/2011 (Day 27-31) The big dark cloud

Saturday 8th
Wakes up at 6:55. gaa i has to get up!
Had work at 8:00 today and since our car was still broken down and we were suppose to get our funky new hire car at 6am, but to my luck it wasn't there.
So i had walkies. Lucky it wasn't raining though :).

I was express chick today :p hahaha. Was suppose to do 5hrs at the start, but then it turned into 9.5 hrs. O.O it's just so many hours. Around 12 i got really short winded...like not being able to breathe almost, so i was sent to rest and after a little while i was all okey dokey. And i though that was going to be the big problem of the day...oh boy was i wrong.

After i finished work, i was looking for our normal car totally forgetting that we had mr. hire car now. Dad called me over and told me to sit next to joshua cause he's been sick. When i sat next to him, he was so pale and really dopey, and i was scared. like what happened to him.

Was told the story dad went to put joshy in the car they both fell down on the slippery slanted cement, dad tried to soften joshy's fall, but he managed to smash his head on the concrete. And immediately concusion shot to my head of what joshy had.

Got home and immediately gave him a shower and got vomited over quite a bit. and then we took down stairs and then it got bad... I was lying next to him hoping that he'll be fine, then i noticed that he started to open and close his hand. I was like what are you doing joshy and i sat him up and then his eyes started to roll into the back of his head. And thats when i freaked out but i had to b there for him. Dad called the ambulance while we watched joshy make sure that he doesn't choke on tongue or choke on vomit. He calmed down for a little bit, until he got a second seziure and started to make clucking sounds and convulsing. major scary stuff :S
And i started to lose it tears were lost and i tried to stop but really couldn't. too many memories were arising from the last time this happened.

I felt a little better when the ambulance came and then too him into the van. Then i was called to then guide nan to the logan hospital, so we had an interesting journey but at least it took the horribleness off our mind for a bit. until we got to the hospital. Don't like hospitals even though u get better here, just going there is bad. But there he waas in bed with all sorts of wires going everywhere and him just lying there almost lifeless, but ok :)

Got home at around ten-ish while joshua stayed in hospital just to be looked after in case of any more seizures. Also didn't sleep much that night.

Sunday-Monday 9-10th
Next couple of days were just wet and we just waited around hearing bettering news about joshua.
Also the terrible wall of water struck toowooba and then the lockyer valley. feel so sorry for those guys.

previous pictures are of the mini flood us guys had. Nothin compared to everywhere else in the city and most of queensland. But still wooow.

Tuesday 11th
Joshy's coming home today.
Again i walked to work but this time i couldn't escape the rain. And boy did it rain today, such much so that it strated the panic as Brisbane is starting to flood. ANd work, D: sooo many people it was like christmas only a different kind of panic, like end of the world panic.Was soooooo busy!!!
Then when i got a lift from dad my brother was back!!! XD was soo glad to have him home.

Wednesday 12th
OMGOSHH sunlight, beautiful, beautiful sun :) was so awesome to c it again. Also today the floodin Brisbane is getting worse, so many places are flooding, even my uni is starting to flood i think. Busses have stopped. and everybody is like leaving the CBD.Watching the news just started to become depressing. so much is going wrong for so many people. Back home was just looking after baby and also washing washing washing.

Had a fun in the arvo, just running around in puddles and i don't think there's a spot in the yard that doesn't have a body of water lying on it. Also today could b the last day nan and pop are hear, but the way the city is flooding they maybe hear for a little while yet.
