INSANE 2 WEEKS OF MY LIFE part 3

Ok so friday night nineish, been playing volleyball for about an hour and a bit now with the smmall group of people that were around, but then in the distance were like lots of people which then made their way over to the volleyball where tons of others were up on the grass. And they were all schoolies i think. Anyway volleyball got crazy like 30 on 30! half of which were like drunk, made it very interesting and then the red frogs joined in as well. so the reason 4 the lots of people i found out later, but it was because the last schoolies party the red frogs were having got cancled so then they luckily found us :). After about another couple of hours playing volleyball, meeting cool and colourful people, i decided to have a little break cause a) 4hrs of volleyball!!!! and b) sunburn on arms where ball keeps hitting hurts! So i rock climbed up as you do on the beach :P and saw amy and kim and asked how the night 4 them was going. And me hearing that  people have been sharing the gospel to some people and was both like woo go them and also a bit dis hearten cause we've been here for a week now and almost everybody has shared the gospel with someone and hey i haven't. After a little bit of talking with kim and amy i asked amy hey do ya wanna go talk to people? and she did so off we went. We sat down next to some red frog people and chatted a bit until we were interrupted by this drunk guy who stumbled on in. He was rambling on about something and i had that urge to be bold. it was like a mental tug-a-war at first but them bam i went for it and asked. Do you know god? the instant i said that i was like to myself aaaaaah! why did u do that. i was freaking out what to do next cause hey thats a full on kinda question i think. But then he answered well talked about he's break up with his girlfriend mixing the whole sex before marriage and god as well. Then amy started asking him questions and then i just sat there as a support for her as she tried her best to share the gospel with him as he was quite drunk and got distracted easily. Then another drunk but not so drunk guy came over and introduced himself to me, which was quite surprising so then came my introduction and the good old question. do you know god? Can't believed that worked again. Anyway he was like yeah. Ok do u go to church? (can't believe the calmness which then came over me from here on out, ii was so weird) Then he answered at Easter he does. Do you know the Easter story? He gave me his version of something hatching out of chocolate easter eggs. So then i asked him do you want to know what i believed happened? and he said yeah and then came the gospel and he seemed generally interested in it. Then i got to the point where i asked him if he would like to accept god's free gift and he was unsure and then commenced his question, mainly bout the bible and also the question are you allowed to drink alcohol. And yeah you are just not get drunk, thats bad. And then came the part where he had to leave so i'm prety certain i gave him a KGP.

WOAH!! what just happened i was so surprised and happy and tons of weird feelings mixed into one. I had just shared the gospel for the first time EVER! praise the lord. was so happy! i had done good. Another highlight of the camp and a massive life changer! And a big trust booster for god :)
The rest of the night i continued down with volleybal until we packed up about 1ish. Was such a great night everybody had great stories of crazy things that happened.

SATURDAY 27th

SLEEP-IN!!! :) was a slow day to start with but after lunch SU guys are back yaay!! And when we faced off each other everybody ran at each other and there were hugs all round haha. Was great to finally see the rest of the crew again. And woo jonny was back XD. WE had story sharing time first, and it was great to hear the stories especially finding out what the SU guys had been up to. Then after that we were spilt into two teams and played this game where we had to cross this river with magic stepping stones and you couldn't let go of the stepping stones once you are in the river or they get washed away, also if this patrol boat comes you have to get onto land or else you are swept off. And lucky me when i was crossing the river the boat came, i know it was just a game, but i was freakin out cause CRAZY  BOAT!! haha, but i made it over woohoo! :)

Then in the afternoon we had something special planned for the peoples that came back, we cooked them dinner and had like a little resturant going on down at the beach. was great! Then since it was such a sucess the night before we set up the volleyball again, we had a few pop on over but not as crazy as friday.


SUNDAY 28th

Yay church day :) went to the later morning one this time for the Presbyterian church and it was really good. then stuff happened during the day, kinda fogot....and then later in the afternoon the people from the lakeshore church were having a bbq, which we were all invited to and OMGOSH! they had lasagne and other cool yummy stuff. Also we had some of the backpackers to come down who we were becoming friends with. Then we went off to the lakeshore church and this time i was sharing my testimony (story on how i came to faith) was starting to mentally hyperventilate cause me and public speaking....bad! Also i had nothing written down, cause i didn't know how to really. My plan was just to speak it as it comes. When i got up and started speaking again i got calm and just storytold away. and everybody seemed to be listening attently which made me feel comfortable sharing. Afterwards when we had a break, hearing people say that they were like inspired by my story and i'm like wha? inspired by me thats crazy! i still don't really get why. Then after church service we stayed there talking for ages.


MONDAY 29th
to come in part 4 cause i would like to end it on an even number :p
